Meet Daria Devlin
Daria Devlin is a lifelong Erie resident, proud East Bayfront native, and committed advocate for health, education, and economic equity in our community. She currently serves as Director of Social Impact for the Hamot Health Foundation where she is leading efforts to address the social drivers of health through housing and neighborhood revitalization.
Daria has led transformative projects across Erie, including building the coalition that successfully advocated for $14M for Erie's Public Schools during a critical funding crisis, founding the Partnership for Erie's Public Schools, and establishing the Erie Center for Arts and Technology (ECAT), where she oversaw a $12 million renovation of the former Wayne School into a community resource center.
Daria has been recognized during her 15 years in nonprofit leadership by the Erie Reader’s “Forty Under Forty,” as well as the MLK Center, and was named 2023 CEO of the Year by the Nonprofit Partnership.
In addition to her professional work, Daria has served as an elected member of the Erie School Board, including as Board President, and sits on the boards of the Erie Western PA Port Authority, the Erie Land Bank, and Erie’s City Revitalization and Improvement Zone Authority.
She is deeply involved in her church, organizing the annual Russian Troika Festival, leading the choir, volunteering at Emmaus Soup Kitchen, and coordinating support for the Overflow Homeless Shelter.
A proud graduate of Erie's Public Schools, Daria holds degrees from Colgate and Edinboro Universities. She lives in Erie with her husband, Neal, and their three sons. Daria's deep roots in Erie and commitment to its future make her a strong leader and advocate for our community.
